The purpose of the ordinance is to approve the service plans for two new metropolitan districts located in RiNo near 38^th and Delgany.

The districts will provide public improvements and services for the proposed residential and commercial mixed-use development situated within the River North (RiNo) neighborhood to be known as Hurley Place. The development will include a mix of creative office, restaurant, retail, hotel, entertainment and residential uses in a total of nearly 1,000,000 gross square feet.

The project is being developed by Menalto Development. The project will complement and enhance the existing development within the RiNo neighborhood by creating a new, iconic entertainment and residential hub in the center of the flourishing community.

State law requires notice of a public hearing on the Service Plan which will be at City Council on September 17^th. A presentation in Finance and Governance Committee is scheduled on August 28^th.
