A bill for an ordinance amending Article II of Chapter 15 of the Revised Municipal Code for purposes of approving a new redistricting plan for the eleven council districts of the City and County of Denver for the municipal election on May 7, 2015, and for any general or special council election held thereafter. (SPECIAL ISSUES: REDISTRICTING) Filed by Councilman López. Describes the district boundaries depicted on Map D-Amended, with the exception that Precinct 829 has been moved from District 9 to District 8, putting all of City Park Statistical Neighborhood in District 8, and adopts new boundaries for the eleven council districts, for purposes of the municipal election on May 7, 2015, based on population data from the 2010 U.S. Census, per the Denver City Charter. This bill was filed by Councilman López.
