Type and Scope of services to be performed:

The Gate Apron Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvements (GARDI) program is a multiyear program to improve the deteriorating pavement conditions around the concourses where heaving and settling have occurred.

This GARDI project consists of apron replacement/repair and drainage improvements of gate pavement around the Northwest Quadrant of Concourse B, specifically Gates B15 to B37. The purpose of this project is to replace deteriorating pavement and mitigate drainage issues and ponding that have been an issue around Concourses B both on the apron and with water collecting in the Concourse basements. While replacing or repairing the apron paving, there will also be utility work and drainage improvements made at the gates as well. This project will also include the shift of aircraft parking to accommodate United Airlines layout and once completed, it will allow for 11 aircraft parking spaces where there are current 10. To allow for this shift, the existing Passenger Loading Bridges and fixed walkways will need to be relocated/adjusted as part of this project.
