Type and Scope of services to be performed:

The Technology Services’ Electronic Engineering Bureau will lease space within the Denver 911 Peoria Building to allow Verizon Wireless to install a new AWS-LTE (Advanced Wireless Services - Long Term Evolution) Headend. This will provide cellular signal enhancement within this facility. The City will provide space for Verizon Wireless’ equipment in the Data Center room and the City will provide open racks for their equipment. Verizon Wireless will use the City network for backhaul back to their cellular switches. The Verizon system will interface with the City owned passive distributed antenna system (DAS).
