Type and Scope of services to be performed: Denver, in partnership with Denver Public Schools (DPS), is creating a citywide air quality (AQ) monitoring network to provide real-time AQ data-utilizing low-cost cutting-edge air pollution sensor technology, redeveloped with solar, battery storage and data connectivity to make it useful for widescale deployment and replicable in any municipality. To date, no U.S. municipality has a city-led, community-based air-monitoring program.

 

The City will work to improve air quality by installing cutting-edge air-pollution sensors around schools that will provide data to inform the City’s approach to making the air safer for all.
