A resolution approving and providing for the execution of a proposed Grant Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the United States of America Department of Health and Human Services concerning the “Ryan White Part A FY19” program and the funding therefor.
Approves a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration for $7,748,995 and for one year to provide services to persons living with HIV/AIDS in the Denver Metropolitan Area (ENVHL - 201947755-00). Type and Scope of services to be performed:
To accept Formula, Supplemental, & Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009 Part A funds for the Denver Transitional Grant Area in the amount of $7,748,995 from the Department of Health & Human Services - Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) for the period of March 1, 2019 - February 29, 2020. These funds will provide care, treatment, and supportive services to persons living with HIV/AIDS in the Denver Transitional Grant Area (TGA). This is the 26h year the Department of Public Health & Environment, Denver Office of HIV Resources (DOHR) has received Ryan White Part A funding.
