Type and Scope of services to be performed:

The Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funds' FY19 HSIP Pkg 1 project is to reconstruct two (2) existing traffic signals within the City and County of Denver. The two traffic signals are located at (1) Yosemite Street & I225 On/Off ramps (North Intersection); and (2) Yosemite Street & I225 On/Off ramps (South Intersection). The scope of this project will be to install new traffic signal equipment in accordance with the City and County of Denver standards. These include signal indications on every lane, 16” countdown pedestrian faces, ATC traffic controller, Ethernet switches, and UPS. ADA handicap ramp, curb and gutter, and sidewalk will also be upgraded within the impact area and installed at all locations to meet ADA and City and County of Denver standards if needed. In addition, a new raised median on the bridge deck to provide a median divided roadway to enhance safety is also included in the works. Lastly, scope of work also includes new pedestrian crosswalks and stop bars in accordance to Denver standards.
