A bill for an ordinance amending Chapter 59 (Zoning) of the Denver Revised Municipal Code to revise the amendment procedure for land retaining Planned Unit Development zoning under Former Chapter 59.
Amends the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) to change who may submit an application to partially rezone a Former Chapter 59 Planned Unit Development to a district in the Denver Zoning Code by requiring the consent of only those property owners within the portion being rezoned. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 6-25-19.

In keeping with Blueprint Denver goals of encouraging the rezoning of Former Chapter 59 properties into the Denver Zoning Code, the proposed DRMC amendment removes a barrier to rezoning for property owners in Former Chapter 59 PUDs who rezone into the Denver Zoning Code.
