A bill for an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1250, Series of 2017, to change the budget basis of the "Public Health and Wellness" Fund and making an appropriation.
Amends the Public Health and Wellness Fund from a lapsing fund to a non-lapsing fund and re-appropriates $100,000 that lapsed in 2018. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 6-25-19.

The Public Health and Wellness Fund, accounting no. 14806 was created as an appropriated, lapsing fund. This request seeks approval to change the fund to non-lapsing. It will continue to be appropriated. Revenue to this fund, which is primarily General Fund transfers, state public health contributions and other program revenue, is retained by the fund for on-going programs; however, the expending authority lapses at year-end.
