Title: A bill for an ordinance authorizing the City and County of Denver to convey to Arapahoe County, its interest in a parcel of real estate located near the intersection of South Cherry Creek Drive and East Iliff Avenue. As part of the Cherry Creek Corridor Improvement Project, the Mile High Flood District (formerly Urban Drainage Flood Control District), City and County of Denver, Arapahoe County, Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority and Denver Water have partnered to restore Cherry Creek from Quebec to Iliff. The project leverages over $15 million in funds to repair eroding banks, upgrade the regional trail and restore ecological function to the creek. As part of the project, Denver Water is conveying 18.8 acres to the City and County of Denver. The City and County of Denver owns 2.5 acres in Arapahoe County, which is part of the project area. In an effort to reduce confusion on jurisdictional boundaries and ease of construction, the City and County of Denver will transfer the 2.5 acres of land to Arapahoe County.  Address/Location (if applicable):
