Vendor/Contractor Name (including any “DBA”): Logistical Planners, LLC

Type and Scope of services to be performed:

Logistical Planners, LLC, is currently providing operation and maintenance technical support, design services, construction management, and consulting services related to the baggage handling system (BHS) and the Automated Guideway Transit System (AGTS) is anticipated to reach its maximum contract liability capacity before the end of 2019. Logplan provides analysis, planning, design, and project/construction management services for modifications to the existing BHS and AGTS systems. Logplan may be required to attend meetings, chair meetings, prepare reports, create and present presentations and be available to support and advise Denver International Airport (DEN) on significant issues or problems that affect the operation of the BHS and or AGTS. In addition, DEN requires ongoing support for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) time-sensitive projects such as the recapitalization project to replace TSA-owned explosive detection screening equipment, as well as further development of the BHS master plan. This second amendment will extend the contract for three additional years and will add $8,000,000.00 to the total contract amount.

This company is now in the middle of design and construction of several projects that need specific expertise and continuity. Extending this contract will allow them to complete that process on the existing projects. A new procurement on BHS design and support contract will begin in late 2020 for a planned start of services in late 2022. (Provides overlap with Amendment No. 2)
