Type and Scope of services to be performed:

This amendment creates a $2,000,000 contract between the Department of Housing Stability (HOST) and Brothers Redevelopment, Inc. to administer the Temporary Rental and Utility Assistance (TRUA) Program in 2020. This contract adds $1,000,000 to the existing 2019 contract amount of $1,000,000 and extends the contract through December 31, 2020. 

 

Brothers Redevelopment, Inc. will provide housing rental assistance and utility assistance to eligible households in the City and County of Denver. The program is designed to mitigate displacement by assisting low- and moderate-income residents experiencing a housing crisis maintain stability. TRUA can provide up to six months of rental assistance and/or up to two payments of utility assistance in a 24-month period to Denver households earning up to 80% of the area median income. 

 

This $2,000,000 contract is expected to serve approximately 1,200 unduplicated households with over 1300 rental assistance payments and more than 300 utility assistance payments by December 31, 2020.
