Approves a lease agreement with Southwest Airlines, Co. for rates and charges and through 8-31-24 to lease space in a Ground Service Equipment Maintenance Building to support its operations, including 19,374.6 square feet of building space and 53,969.6 square feet of ground space at Denver International Airport (201950577-00). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 3-31-20. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 2-26-20.

This lease is for Southwest Airlines Co. (Southwest) to lease space in a Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Building to support its operations at Denver International Airport (DEN). The area to be leased to Southwest is 19,374.6 sq. ft. of building space and 53,969.6 sq. ft. of ground space. Southwest will pay DEN Rates & Charges for the space. Annual rent to the City in 2020 rates is approximately $206,000.00 annually.
