Type and Scope of services to be performed:

Amends the Department of Housing Stability’s (HOST) contract with Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) awarded through the 2019 Notice of Funding Availability. This amendment extends the contract period from March 1, 2019 through May 31, 2021 and provides an additional $850,000.

 

The Single Family Rehab Program helps support homeowners at or below 80% of the Area Median Income with undertaking code compliance issues as a part of rehabilitation activities. The program offers loans of up to $35,000 as either no-interest deferred-payment loans, or one-percent-interest loans amortized over 20 years, or a combination. Rehabilitation of units must meet all local building codes, including but not limited to major building systems (plumbing, heating and electrical), structural issues, windows, and roofing.
