Approves a contract with Hensel Phelps Construction Co. for $212,000,000 and for 1175 Days for a design build contract for the Colorado Convention Center Expansion Project in Council District 9 (202055290). Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Expand the Colorado Convention Center to include features that focus on the quality and character of place and experience, connectivity, flexible and unique spaces, and technology, all of which will help keep the CCC vibrant and attractive for years to come. Improvements include additional square feet of flexible meeting and ballroom space, pre-function space with views of Rocky Mountains, new outdoor terrace, full kitchen, storage, appropriate back of house spaces, technology improvements, new networking spaces, lobby improvements and vertical circulation.
