A resolution approving a proposed First Amendment between the City and County of Denver and ISS Facility Services, Inc. concerning addition of required FEMA language to the contract at Denver International Airport.
Amends a contract with ISS Facility Services Inc. to add required FEMA language to the contract to seek reimbursement for service related costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. No change to contract amount or duration (201732928; 202055942). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 11-30-20. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 10-28-20.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
ISS Facility Services Inc. (ISS) provides janitorial services for the Main Terminal, A Concourse, B Concourse and C Concourse at Denver International Airport (DEN). Services include general janitorial services, restroom cleaning, carpet cleaning and floor care/cleaning. ISS also provides personnel to perform snow removal duties. The purpose of this amendment is to add in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) language to allow DEN the opportunity to apply for federal reimbursement of additional costs incurred by DEN due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This amendment will not modify the term or the maximum contract liability.
