Type and Scope of services to be performed:

Per the 1988 Denver/Adams County Intergovernmental Agreement on a New Airport (IGA), Denver International Airport (DEN) is required to maintain aircraft noise levels in communities surrounding DEN within limits set by the agreement.  DEN has contracted with Harris, Miller, Miller, and Hanson Inc. (HMMH) to provide on-call consulting services necessary to analyze the acoustic effects of various types of aircraft operations, as well as changes to those operations.  These services are essential to DEN’s ability to comply with the terms of the IGA, and to effectively mitigate potential issues before they can affect compliance. This 5th amendment will extend the contract with HMMH for an additional 36 months, and adds $450,000.00 to the total authorized amount.
