Title: A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Second Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the Denver Urban Renewal Authority, by modifying the scope of work and budget, to assist the Department of Public Health and Environment with administering the Lead Based Paint Hazard Control Grant Program. Amends an intergovernmental agreement with Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) by reducing the agreement amount by $782,376.01 for a new total of $1,825,834.94 to administer the Lead Based Paint Hazard Control program (LBPHC) to mitigate lead paint hazards in low-income homes built before 1978, due to reduced performance benchmarks because of the pandemic work stoppage. No change to the agreement duration (201843088-02). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 12-21-20. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 11-25-20.

Contract agreement with the Denver Urban Renewal Authority for $1,825,834.94, a reduction of $782,376.06.  DURA will provide education and outreach services as a service to HUD’s Lead Based Paint Hazard Control Program.  In addition, DURA will manage and oversee the operations of the program as well as technical assistance, and review of all program details.  There is no change to the contract period (2/1/2018 - 1/31/2021).
