Type and Scope of services to be performed:

In response to the city’s need for providing shelters for people experiencing homelessness during the declared emergency on the basis of COVID-19, the city established various shelter locations. Because of the shelter expansion, additional security personnel are needed as the citywide security contractor does not have capacity to fulfill the need.  Securitas Security Services has been fulfilling these critical security personnel services at congregate and non-congregate shelter locations. In order to continue service as this pandemic is on-going, an increase to the maximum compensation is required.
