A resolution approving a proposed Sixth Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and ShotSpotter, Inc. to extend the term, increase compensation and amend the maximum contract amount for equipment and services related to high-tech audio equipment to detect and pinpoint the location of gunfire within the service area.
Amends a contract with ShotSpotter, Inc. by adding $835,438 for a new total $4,526,392 and one year for a new end date of 12-31-21 for equipment and services related to high-tech audio equipment capable of detecting and pinpointing the location of gunfire within the service area (201525310-05). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 3-30-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 2-24-21.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
ShotSpotter, Inc. will continue to provide ShotSpotter Respond (formerly Flex) wide area Gunshot Detection, Location, and Forensic Analysis Service for the Denver Police Department. ShotSpotter Respond is a cloud based, subscription managed service with warranty, repair, maintenance, and support services on all of its systems. The ShotSpotter Respond service includes the web-based ShotSpotter Dispatch, ShotSpotter Respond, and ShotSpotter Insight applications which run on any standard browser based platform. This contract amendment will provide continuation of services for the coverage area in Denver for a contract total of $4,526,392. The proposed term of the contract will be 01/01/2021 - 12/31/2021.
