Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Part of the impetus for advancing Phase III at this time is to access and leverage a potential funding opportunity for a bike/snow sport structure - a structure that would support and enhance the existing recreational programming of the mountain bike park and railyard. The need for bicycle programming is on the rise as communities look for opportunities to keep youth active. The concept includes a new facility for bike rentals, storage, public bathrooms, and offices for DPR staff. Other components of Phase III include a splash pad, volleyball and basketball courts, picnic areas and landscaped green spaces.
