A resolution approving a proposed Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Bellco Credit Union to revise the Rights and Benefits and the associated Fees and to extend the term for exclusive naming rights for the Colorado Convention Center Theater/Performing Art Space.
Amends a sponsorship contract with Bellco Credit Union for naming rights and consumer and commercial banking sponsorship at the Colorado Convention Center Lecture Hall in Council District 9 by adding two years for a new end date of 12-31-29 and modifying the sponsorship fee schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic. No change to contract amount (THTRS-201839921). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 5-3-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 3-31-21.

In 2017 Denver Arts & Venues (DAV) issued an RFP for a naming rights and consumer and commercial banking sponsor at Colorado Convention Center Lecture Hall. Bellco Credit Union was awarded a ten-year contract THTRS- 201839921, from 1/1/2018 - 12/31/2027. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, both DAV and the Contractor seek to adjust the contract to reflect mass gathering limitations that affected Sponsor benefits during 2020 and 2021.
