A resolution approving a proposed Contract between the City and County of Denver and IHC Scott, Inc. concerning the rehabilitation of the Runway 16L-34R and Taxiway Z complex at Denver International Airport.
Approves a contract with IHC Scott, Inc. for $23,555,608.22 and for 140 days for the rehabilitation of the Runway 16L-34R and Taxiway Z complex, which will remove and replace deteriorated concrete pavement and upgrade the airfield lighting system at Denver International Airport (202056997). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 5-3-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 3-31-21.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
This project will remove and replace deteriorated concrete pavement, joint sealant, and improve deficient taxiway safety areas on the Runway 16L-34R and Taxiway Z complex. The airfield lighting system will be upgraded with new LED fixtures, transformer, cables, and guidance signs. In addition, the project will refresh the surface painted pavement markings, and address surface drainage and slope issues.
