A resolution approving a proposed Revival and Third Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Aramark Management Services Limited Partnership to provide janitorial, cleaning and sanitation services at the Denver Coliseum Auxiliary Shelter in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Amends a contract with Aramark Management Services Limited Partnership by adding $1,800,000 for a new total of $6,300,000 and six months for a new end date of 9-30-21 and amending the pricing structure to provide janitorial, cleaning and sanitation services at the Denver Coliseum Auxiliary Shelter in response to the COVID-19 pandemic (GENRL-202157953-03; THTRS-202054281-03). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 5-24-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 4-7-21.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Aramark Services was contracted to provide janitorial, cleaning, sanitation and laundry services at the Denver Coliseum Auxiliary Shelter. The facility was established in April of 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic for people experiencing homelessness. This amendment seeks to extend the provision of services through September 30, 2021 with an option to extend which will need to be executed at least ten (10) days prior the expiration of the term.
The auxiliary shelter for men at the Denver Coliseum provides 24/7 sheltering with a capacity of up to 300 guests. Sheltering operations are administered by the Denver Rescue Mission, and this effort includes medical screening of all guests at entry by the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. This janitorial and laundry service contract is eligible for reimbursement from FEMA.
