Amends a contract with Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Denver by adding $130,000 for a new total of $526,400 to add remote learning centers for comprehensive out-of-school time services to youth year-round at 7 sites in Denver in Council Districts 3, 7, 8, and 9. No change to contract duration (202157960). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 5-17-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 4-14-21.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Amend expenditure agreement to Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Denver funding, bringing to total contract amount to $526,400.00. The BGCMD were awarded a multi-year contract (9/1/19 - 8/31/22) for a total amount of $390,000 to provide comprehensive out of school time services to youth at 7 Denver sites serving more than 3,000 youth each year. Additional services were added in 2020 due to COVID-19, to provide Remote Learning Centers during to support youth with safe and structured in-person programming during the school day to help youth with remote learning. This additional work has increased their contract amount for 2021 to a total of $526,400.
