In 2019, Denver City Council adopted an ordinance creating a five-year pilot program for a new license type allowing consumption of alcohol by persons over the age of 21 in designated common consumption areas. The current effective date for the beginning of the program is 90 days after passage of agency rules. This bill would reduce that window to 45 days after passage of agency rules.
