This project serves to control the spread of COVID-19 in Colorado. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an unprecedented public health response worldwide. The project will strengthen and support local public health agencies responding to COVID-19 by funding personnel to perform critical containment activities, such as disease surveillance, case investigation, contact

tracing, and testing, based on jurisdictional needs. The project also supports local responses to COVID-19 outbreaks, infection prevention efforts at health care and other settings, and promotes health equity aspects of the response. The project benefits all Coloradans by providing support to every local public health agency working on behalf of Colorado communities.
