Vendor/Contractor Name (including any “DBA”): J&K Trucking LLC

Type and Scope of services to be performed:

Hauling of asphalt, mill tailings, or other as directed by the Street Maintenance Division of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. This will be for continued support for two paving crews for the City.

The RFP process for a new on-call hauling agreement is underway and the DOTI Contract team projects that the procurement process will take three months. The current contract is set to expire on May 31, 2021, leaving a possible lapse in hauling service after this date. Supplemental contract hauling is essential to completing the 2021 paving program on schedule therefore extending the current contract by three months would allow Street Maintenance to continue paving without disruption. In addition, the current prices are advantageous to the City and contractor mutually.
