This is a resolution request to approve the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and County of Denver (City) and Denver Firefighters Local 858 (Local 858), regarding pay and benefits for the year 2022.
The new contract contains a number of amendments to the current contract, including (1) reinstatement of certain benefits temporarily suspended in 2021 as a result of voluntary concessions made by Local 858; (2) making call-back compensation and court pay available to all ranks/assignments in the bargaining unit; (3) creation of a cache of wildland PPE available to firefighters during strike team deployme...
