Type and Scope of services to be performed:

Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funds the HSIP FY24 COLORADO BLVD & ALAMEDA AVE project. This project is to reconstruct six (6) existing traffic signals within the City and County of Denver. The six traffic signals are located Alameda Ave at Sheridan Blvd, Federal Blvd, and Colorado Blvd: Colorado Blvd at 35th Ave, Bruce Randolph Ave, and 26th Ave. The scope of this project will be to install new traffic signal equipment in accordance with the City and County of Denver standards. These include signal indications on every lane, 16” countdown pedestrian faces, ATC traffic controller, Ethernet switches, and UPS. ADA handicap ramp, curb and gutter, and sidewalk will also be upgraded within the impact area and installed at all locations to meet ADA and City and County of Denver standards if needed. Lastly, scope of work also includes new pedestrian crosswalks and stop bars in accordance to Denver standards.
