A resolution approving a proposed Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company extending the term for a new end date to provide preconstruction services for the Livestock Center at the National Western Center in Council District 9.
Amends a contract with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company by adding one year for a new end date of 8-31-22 to provide preconstruction services for the Livestock Center at the National Western Center in Council District 9. No change to contract amount (DOTI - 202055964; DOTI-202160782). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 11-15-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 10-5-21.

This contract supports preconstruction services for the Livestock Center scope the National Western Center to include, but not be limited to, supporting design workshops, cost estimating services, constructability reviews and quality control/quality assurance constructability for project design documents. The impacts of COVID-19 prolonged the duration of this contract for preconstruction services.
