A resolution approving a proposed Second Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to provide rehousing services, including short-term bridge shelter, rehousing rental assistance, and supportive services.
Amends a contract with The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless by adding $2,499,997 for a new total of $6,500,000 and one year for a new end date of 12-31-22 to coordinate a rehousing collaborative in order to provide rehousing services, including short-term bridge shelter, rehousing rental assistance, and supportive services, citywide (HOST 202161110-02). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 12-20-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 11-17-21.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The contract provides rehousing assistance by providing short-term rental assistance, deposit assistance housing navigation, case management services to at least 260 households and ongoing support services collaborative partners.
Colorado Coalition for the Homeless will coordinate a rehousing collaborative, aimed at serving at least 260 people experiencing homelessness in the Denver Metro area. CCH and its partners will provide short-term bridge shelter, rehousing rental assistance, and supportive services to qualifying participants.
