Approves a sublease agreement with The Denver Rescue Mission for $30 and through 12-31-23 to operate a City-leased shelter for people experiencing homelessness at 4600 East 48th Avenue in Council District 8. The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 1-3-22. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 11-30-21.

Approval is requested to enter into a lease agreement with The Denver Rescue Mission for a City-leased shelter located at 4600 E. 48th Avenue.
This sublease term is for approximately 2 years + 3 months at a yearly rental rate of $10.00. The Denver Rescue Mission is party to Contract No. HOST-202057230-00 (“Service Contract”), pursuant to which The Denver Rescue Mission is to operate a shelter for people experiencing homelessness. The Lease will be in effect until the earlier of 12/31/2023 or the termination of the Service Contract.
