Type and Scope of services to be performed:

ShotSpotter, Inc. will provide wide area Gunshot Detection, Location, and Forensic Analysis Service for the Denver Police Department. ShotSpotter Respond is a cloud based, subscription managed service with warranty, repair, maintenance, and support services on all of its systems. This is a new agreement based on RFP 11079 for a total of $4,700,000. The proposed term of the contract will be 01/01/2022 - 12/31/2026.

Contractor provides equipment and services related to high-tech audio equipment, trained acoustic specialists and acoustic

analytics capable of classifying outdoor incidents as either gunfire, or other loud sounds not classified as gunfire. For those

incidents classified as gunfire, contractor provides pinpoint locations of the gunfire in the service(s) area within 60 seconds.

Contractor’s solution captures and stores a precise timestamp plus GPS coordinates for each detected incident, as well as each round of a multi-round gunfire incident. This level of detail has successfully been used in investigations and courtrooms to exonerate contentious officer-involved shootings, corroborate testimony, refute false testimony, and prove the presence of multiple shooters in the absence of physical evidence and/or eyewitnesses.
