A resolution approving a proposed Second Amendment between the City and County of Denver and Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. concerning program management services for the Great Hall Project at Denver International Airport.
Amends a contract with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. by adding $50 million for a new total of $102 million and four years for a new end date of 12-31-28 to continue to provide program management for the Great Hall Project completion at Denver International Airport (202161482; 201630091-02). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 1-18-22. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 12-15-21. Pursuant to Council Rule 3.7, Councilmember Ortega called this item out at the meeting on 1-3-22 for a one-week postponement to 1-10-22.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The Jacobs team will provide leadership, experience, and expertise to assist DEN in making the Great Hall Completion program a success. Jacobs will augment the existing Great Hall team where gaps exist as we steward the design and construction processes, focusing on safety, the passenger experience and maintaining business continuity for airport operations. Jacobs will integrate with the DEN team and work with key stakeholders to accomplish the agreed vision and goals as an integrated team. The scope includes Key Leadership roles, Design Quality Assurance, Construction Oversight, Construction Quality Assurance and a Program Management Organization to establish procedures, governance, risk management and provide reporting to DEN as well as the public.
