Amends a food service agreement with JBK Hotels, LLC doing business as Aloft, by adding $633,500 for a new total of $2,695,700 and six months for a new end date of 6-30-22 to provide food services to those people experiencing homelessness during the COVID 19 crisis staying at a hotel in Council District 9 (FINAN-202161630). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 2-28-22. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 1-18-22.

The original Food Services Agreement (FINAN-202054604) assists HOST to provide food services to those people experiencing homelessness during the COVID 19 crisis and staying at Aloft. The original agreement expired September 30, 2020. The first amendment (FINAN-202055636) extended the term of the original agreement through December 31, 2020. The second amendment (FINAN-202057167) extended the term of the agreement through June 30, 2021. The third amendment extended the term through the end of September 2021 (FINAN-202159070). The fourth amendment extended the term through December 31, 2021. The proposed fifth amendment (FINAN-202161630) would extend the term through June 30, 2022.
