Amends a contract with HNTB Corporation to add $14,000,000 for a new contract total of $99,000,000 and 2 years for a new end date of 12-31-2024 for additional architectural and engineering services associated with the Concourse Expansion Program at Denver International Airport in Council District 11 (202262570). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 5-9-22. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 4-6-22.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
In 2017, DEN signed contracts with HNTB Corp (HNTB) and Jacobs Engineering to provide architectural and engineering design services relating to DEN’s Concourse Expansion Program. In June 2020, the HNTB Contract was amended to accommodate additional project requirements associated with Phase 2 work.
This second amendment to the HNTB Contract, in the amount of $14M will increase capacity to accommodate additional design work needed for the following:
• Concourse Gate Apron Rehab (GARDI)
• A-East Ground Load Expansion
This amendment to the HNTB Contract will increase contract capacity to accommodate the additional project requirements and meet aggressive schedules.
