In 2021, capital improvement funds were appropriated for the charging of City staff time for project management activities on capital projects as savings measure to the General Fund during the pandemic. A portion of DOTI's City staff charging budget was not fully utilized due to vacancies. This request is to rescind $1,065,332 from unused capital improvement funds intended for DOTI City staff project management and reappropriates the funds to support DOTI professional services for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
