Approves a lease agreement with Dazzlejazz, Inc. for $202,200 and 3-years, plus two 3-year options to extend, to lease approximately 4,044 square feet of space at the Denver Performing Arts Complex in the Galleria area, located in Council District 9 (FINAN-202263311-00). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 8-8-22. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 7-5-22.

3-year lease of approx. 4,044 square feet at DPAC Galleria to Dazzlejazz as a jazz cabaret performance space with a bar and food service through a catering kitchen. Please see Executive Summary.
This Lease Agreement provides space in the Denver Performing Arts Complex Galleria area to be used as a jazz cabaret performance space with a bar and food service through a catering kitchen.
The lease is for a three-year term with two options for the lessee to extend for three-year terms, with a 3% rent increase from the prior term. Dazzlejazz will provide furniture, fixtures and equipment for the space.
The jazz cabaret use will complement other arts offerings at DPAC.
