Type and Scope of services to be performed:

 

Establishes a new contract (also known as a “revenue contract”) between the Denver Department of Housing Stability and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide funding for the Spectrum Continuum of Care program. The program funds may be used for housing, rental subsidies and case management for individuals who are chronically homeless, with another qualifying condition, and accepted through the coordinated entry system.

 

                     The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is designed to promote communitywide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, and state and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families, and communities by homelessness; promote access to and effect utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

 

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will provide $1,053,953 for the Spectrum Continuum of Care Permanent Supportive Housing Program. The program funds may be used for housing, rental subsidies and case management for individuals who are chronically homeless, with another qualifying condition, and accepted through the coordinated entry system.
