A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Urban Drainage and Flood Control District d/b/a Mile High Flood District to continue construction of drainage and flood control improvements for Marston Lakes North at Bowles Ditch.
Amends an intergovernmental agreement with Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD), doing business as Mile High Flood Control District, by adding $1,000,000 of UDFCD funds and $1,000,000 of City funds to continue construction of drainage and flood control improvements for Marston Lakes North at Bowles Ditch in Council District 2. No change to contract duration (202159332-01_202264130-01). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 9-19-2022. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 8-16-2022.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
PROJECT shall include construction by CITY of the drainage and flood control improvements as set forth in the final design and vegetation establishment. PROJECT elements include storm improvements including pipe and storm inlets. Agreement No. 21-05.14A: This agreement will commit an additional $1,000,000 in Mile High Flood District (UDFCD) funds, and $1,000,000 in Wastewater Enterprise funds for the Marston Lakes North at Bowles Ditch Project to construct drainage and flood control improvements for a total of $2,000,000. The improvements will include drainage improvements for Marston Lake North at Bowles Ditch in southwest Denver. This project is being managed through design by the MHFD (UDFCD) and will be constructed by CCD. The city shall be reimbursed the MHFD funds after construction.
