Type and Scope of services to be performed:

 

                     The Denver Fire Department applied and received a FEMA Fiscal Year 2021 Assistance to Firefighters $785,954.54 Grant to purchase vehicle extrication equipment. The grant requires a minimum 10% City match of $78,595.46 for a total approved budget of $864,550.00. The current grant budget period is 8/30/2022 to 8/29/2024.

 

                     This competitive grant will assist in the procurement of hydraulic vehicle extrication equipment including rams, cutters and spreaders. Typically, this equipment is utilized during emergency responses to extricate trapped occupants from vehicles damaged in traffic accidents.
