Type and Scope of services to be performed:

The scope of work of the contract with U.S. Motels Denver North, Inc., is to provide units for short term shelter for individuals and families when the City’s emergency shelter beds are full through the established voucher program. Individuals and families with children will be provided with safe accommodations at preidentified locations owned and operated by U.S. Motels North. Families are defined as minors with at least one adult.

 

In order to be served by the voucher motel program families must have children under the age of 18, or dependent adult children.  Families are provided with an initial 30-night stay to ensure they have the opportunity to meet with an outreach case coordinator and develop an exit plan.  Extensions of stays are based on family engagement with case coordinators and working toward their own goals. 

 

Families seeking overnight shelter resources can arrive at any of the locations listed below to be assisted with shelter resources and if eligibility and vacancy allows, connected to a non-congregate shelter stay:

 

The Gathering Place (1535 N High St, Denver, CO 80218) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:30-11:30 am

The VOA Mission (2877 Lawrence St, Denver, CO 80205) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:30-11:30 am

Samaritan House (2301 Lawrence St, Denver CO 80205) Seven days a week from 5-8:30 p.m.
