Through the community led efforts done by Valverde Neighborhood Association and the family of Elaine and Alfred Ulibarri a full packet was presented to the PRAB which included: 347 signatures in support (47 more than required) and 45 letters of support.

The Denver Parks and Recreation Advisory Board held a public hearing on the July 13, 2022 meeting, PRAB approved the motion unanimously.

The unnamed park, currently known as Unnamed Bryant & Ellsworth Park, sits approximately between S. Bryant St. and S. Clay St. on its north/south boundary, and W. Ellsworth Ave. and W. Bayaud Aven Navajo Street and Osage Street bordered residential uses and is considered a pocket park.
