Type and Scope of services to be performed:

The Denver District Attorney’s Office and the Asian Pacific Development Center (APDC) have received funding to support the Denver Anti-Trafficking Alliance (DATA): a multidisciplinary task force that implements victim-centered and coordinated approaches to identifying victims of sex and labor trafficking, addresses the individualized needs of victims through services, and investigates and prosecutes sex and labor trafficking cases in the City and County of Denver. The project increases DATA's infrastructure and creates a formalized collaboration between law enforcement and community and system-based service providers to address all forms of human trafficking. This project enhances the existing DATA to include formalized policies and procedures that focus on coordinated victim-centered approaches that incorporate survivor input, and multifaceted collaborative methods for investigating and prosecuting cases. These enhancements result in long term systems change, an increase in comprehensive services for victims of human trafficking, and ultimately the reduction and prevention of human trafficking in the City and County of Denver.

This contract reflects the $750,000.00 award received by the DA's Office (15POVC-22-GK-03658-HT). APDC has a separate award budget.

The Denver Anti-Trafficking Alliance (DATA)/Enhanced Collaborative Model (ECM) Task Force project will expand the Task Force capabilities to implement victim-centered, coordinated approaches to identifying victims of human trafficking, investigate and prosecute sex and labor trafficking cases, and address the individualized needs of victims through service provision in the Metro Denver area. The overall goal is to enhance and sustain a multidisciplinary co-leadership task force approach to identify all forms of human trafficking, provide access to services, and investigate and prosecute traffickers at the local, state, and federal levels.
