A resolution approving a proposed Revival and Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Dynalectric Company to complete the replacement of the fire alarm panel that is at the end of its useful life and covers the Police Administration Building (PAB) and the Pre-Arraignment Detention Facility (PADF), located in Council District 10.
Amends the contract with Dynalectric Company by adding 14 months for a new end date of 3-29-2024 to account for supply chain issues, to complete the replacement of the fire alarm panel that is at the end of its useful life and covers the Police Administration Building (PAB) and the Pre-Arraignment Detention Facility (PADF), located in Council District 10. No change to contract amount (GENRL-202263055-01 / GENRL-202367434-01). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 5-29-2023. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 4-25-2023.

The fire panel replacement and upgrade project at the Police Administration Building was delayed due to a supply chain issue the contractor is experiencing with required equipment and devices that are needed to complete the project. The term extension for this agreement allows for the additional time needed to receive the equipment and devices to complete the project. All remaining terms and conditions, including pricing of the project will remain the same.
