Through the community led efforts done by Mr. Everett Brinson and Mr. Walker’s surviving family, a full packet was presented to the PRAB which included: over 400 signatures in support (300 are required) and fifteen letters of support. The Denver Parks and Recreation Advisory Board held a public hearing on the April 12, 2023 meeting, PRAB approved the motion unanimously. The unnamed loop trail, currently encompasses portions of West Ridge Trail and Meadow View Trail, begins at the west trailhead from the parking area of O’Fallon Park and extends for approximately 2.9 miles into the park, which is considered a mountain park.
