Vendor/Contractor Name (including any “DBA”):

RRK Enterprises Inc., dba Independence House, Inc.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:

Provides residential and non-residential re-entry services.  Community Corrections programs are staffed and operated 24/7 and offer services that support and assist individuals returning from incarceration. This facility serves up to seventy-five (75) males and includes case management to support successful reentry into community after incarceration from both Colorado Department of Corrections (DOC) facilities and the Denver County Jail. Participants are assessed and placed in classes and supports specific to their needs, including but not limited to treatment, employment assistance, financial management, and community engagement. Participants actively engage in community service and events in Council District 1 and receive mentorship and coaching on development of pro-social support systems and relationships, problem-solving and conflict management. Continuity of services through this amendment is extremely important to manage negative impacts of the decreased residential corrections programming bedspace in Denver County and to mitigate the harms caused by persons on the residential program waitlist who must remain in prison or jail awaiting availability of a program space.
