A resolution approving a proposed Third Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and The Denver Inner City Parish, Inc. for activities and programs at the College View Recreation Center.
Amends a contract with The Denver Inner City Parish, Inc. by adding one year for a new end date of 6-30-19 to occupy and provide public service activities and programs for the general public and surrounding community at the former College View Recreation Center located at 2525 South Decatur Street in Council District 7. No change to this zero-dollar contract (XC00644). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 4-9-18. The Committee approved filing this resolution by consent on 3-6-18.

Amendment to extend the contract term by one additional year to allow time for Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) to conduct a community involvement process for the former College View Recreation Center space prior to re-bidding the lease/issuing a Request of Proposals. The College View Recreation Center is a DPR “Transition Center”, and DPR has contracted with Denver Inner City Parish since 2010 for them to manage the center and programming. This extension will allow for a public process to occur to assess community needs and interests prior to re-bidding (via RFP).
