Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The current pre-conditioned (PC) air systems on Concourses A and C are undersized and will be upgraded to accommodate the concourse expansion. In addition, structural issues related to slab heave in each PC air room requires significant work to correct and will be addressed alongside the installation of the new PC air equipment. This project will include a new structural floor and equipment pads, new chillers, new heat exchangers, new pumps, new hydronic piping, new expansion tanks, new variable frequency drives, updated controls to coordinate with emergency management systems, updated electrical to correspond to the newly installed equipment, and will maintain right of way currently occupied by the existing automated baggage system for potential future improvements.
